Official Rules for the IMAX Excellence Awards FFI Grand Prize Contest

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. DESCRIPTION: The IMAX Excellence Awards FFI Grand Prize Contest (the “Contest”) is a skill-based contest that provides IMAX’s exhibition partners with the opportunity to create and submit a 360-degree marketing campaign at the head office level (“Campaign”) that (i) boosts the sales and ticket purchases by offering incentives to “would buy” audience and encourages exhibitors to give more visibility or prime placement to FFI releases, (ii) increases the competitive edge, by differentiating Filmed For IMAX (“FFI”) offerings from competing premium large-screen formats, (iii) encourages wider distribution, by encouraging exhibitors to show the title in more locations or at multiple times, helping the title to reach a broader audience,(iv) facilitates better market insights, (v) increases customer engagement by hosting special events, screenings, or exclusive releases and driving customer engagement and digital footprint,and (vi) increases exhibitor budgets and commitments for the FFI release of the feature film “F1”. 2. ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open solely to the corporate or head office of IMAX’s exhibition partner companies globally (“Exhibitors”). No other entrants are eligible for this Contest.

3. HOW TO ENTER: Each Campaign shall be executed by one (1) eligible Exhibitor between June 2, 2025 and July 14, 2025. The Contest shall begin accepting submissions commencing on July 15, 2025 and ending on August 4, 2025 (the “Submission Period”). The Contest shall be subject to the terms set forth in this Agreement.

Exhibitors can enter their submissions on the Contest website, located at: imax.com/excellenceawards (the “Web Site”). Click “ENTER” to enter the submission portal. Next, submit the password that has been provided to you separately by IMAX. The Web Site will contain a description of the Contest, an entry form and on-screen instructions to upload entrant’s Campaign as an entry. Exhibitor must upload their Campaign and complete the entry form (which will ask for information such as contact name and email address, Exhibitor Name, and campaign details/supporting documents). Once all required fields have been filled out, click the“Submit” button (collectively, “Submission”). An employee of Exhibitor must complete the entry form with all required information for the entry to be eligible. Only complete entries will be accepted as eligible Submissions. Entries will only be accepted during the Submission Period. No other methods of entry will be accepted. Only one (1) entry per Exhibitor will be accepted.

4. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Please make sure you are entering only on behalf of your company (Exhibitor), and that you are authorized to do so. You should not enter an email address for anyone other than yourself.

5. JUDGING CRITERIA: The entries will be judged by IMAX’s Global Exhibition team and the winning entrant will win the prize as further set forth below. This Contest will be judged based on success metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as further described below. These metrics and KPIs are: (i) IMAX Indexing Per Complex (i.e., percentage increase of IMAX indexing in the complexes in comparison to the average FFI title indexing); (ii) Number of On-Screen Piece Placements (i.e., in theater screens and/or social channels, etc.); (iii) Number of IMAX Creative Asset Placements (i.e., in theater placements/digital screens, OOH, social media, etc.); (iv) Social and Digital Support (i.e., volume of paid media placements, volume of exhibitor-owned channel support, etc.); (v) Additional Premium Investment Opportunities that Drive Purchase (i.e., collectible tickets, giveaways, influencer partnerships, etc.). Each metric/KPI will be scored on a rating scale of 1 to 5: 1 – Poor, 2 – Basic, 3 – Good, 4 – Very Good, and 5 – Excellent. The scores for all metrics/KPIs will be totaled, and the winner shall be the entrant with the highest total score.

In the instance of a tie, the entrant must complete a quiz containing questions pertaining to IMAX’s decades-long history. The winner will be deemed the entrant with the overall higher score. All decisions of the IMAX judging panel are final on all aspects of the Contest.

6. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: One (1) grand prize winner will be selected and announced on or around September 8, 2025. Any potential winner will be notified via e-mail within twenty-four (24) hours from the time the potential winner is selected. Notification is deemed to have occurred immediately upon sending of an e-mail (“Notification”). In the event that Sponsor is unable to reach the potential winner, or the potential winner does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours from Notification, such entry will be disqualified, and Sponsor will select a new winner according to the Judging Criteria and these Official Rules, time permitting. Additionally, if the winner is ineligible, it will be deemed as if the winner has rejected the prize.

7. PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive the “Grand Prize” of an all expenses paid employee appreciation event, with a budget of up to Twelve Thousand United States Dollars ($12,000.00). The winner is solely responsible for all taxes (international, federal, state, and local) and for any other fees or costs associated with the prize it receives. Winner is additionallyresponsible for the safety and security of its employees at the event to the extent required by law. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold and deduct such taxes and charges from the prize if and to the extent required by law. To claim the Grand Prize, the potential winner must provide IMAX with a proposed budget for their employee appreciation event on or before October 31, 2025(capped at a maximum of $12,000.00). IMAX will pay the approve budget amount per a complete and accurate invoice provided by the winner, and within sixty (60) days following the later of (i) budget approval and (ii) receipt of invoice. If the potential winner does not submit a budget in accordance with this paragraph, the Grand Prize will be deemed unclaimed. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. The Grand Prize is not transferable.

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest; or (b) award the prize to the highest scoring entry from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and seek damages from any individual who tampers with the operation of the Contest, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Proof of sending any communication to Sponsor by mail shall not be deemed proof of receipt of that communication by Sponsor. The Contest is subject tointernational, federal, provincial, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

9. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Contest, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. (“Warner USA”), Warner Bros. Entertainment UK Limited (together with Warner USA, “Warner”), Apple Video Programming LLC (“Apple”), and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (b) technical errors that may impair your ability to participate in the Contest; (c) errors in the administration of the Contest arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control; (d) any claim or allegation that your Entry infringes any copyright, trademark, or any other intellectual property right; and (e) claims relating to injuries, death, or damage to persons or property relating in any way to your participation in the Contests or use of a prize.

10. PRIVACY AND PUBLICITY: Any information you submit as part of the Contest will be used for purposes of this Contest and treated in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy . To “opt out” of the disclosure of any of your personal information by Sponsor, e-mail Sponsor at privacy@imax.com or write to Sponsor at IMAX Corporation, 12582 West Millennium Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90094, providing your name, address, and indicating your request to opt-out. Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes your consent to our use of your name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, and jurisdiction of residence for promotional purposes in any media (and for disclosure in a list of winners) without further payment or consideration.

11. DISPUTES: You agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Los Angeles, California. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of California or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than California.

12. WINNER INFORMATION: To request the names of the winners, please send an e-mail to ngregory@imax.com or send a self-addressed stamped envelope to IMAX Excellence Awards F1 Grand Prize Contest Winner List, 12582 West Millennium Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90094. Requests must be received by November 1, 2025.
